As a brand photographer and creative entrepreneur, I spend much of my time helping business owners show up with confidence, clarity, and intention. This retreat gave me the space to step back, reflect, and listen closely to what my own business has been asking of me.
It wasn’t about adding more strategies or chasing the next trend. It was about alignment, intentional growth, and reconnecting with the deeper purpose behind the work I do.

What made this retreat so impactful wasn’t just the conversations or the setting — it was how grounded and soul-fulfilling it felt.
Being in a room with thoughtful, driven women reminded me that growth doesn’t always come from pushing harder. Sometimes it comes from slowing down long enough to recognize what’s working, what no longer fits, and what’s ready to evolve.
This year has been one of deep personal and professional refinement. It has asked me to rebuild with honesty, lead with intention, and trust that clarity often follows discomfort. This retreat met me exactly where I was and helped reaffirm the direction I’m moving in.

One of the most meaningful parts of the retreat was photographing Heidi Powell.
Not because of titles or visibility — but because of how she shows up. Grounded. Present. Intentional. Photographing her felt less like directing a session and more like documenting a moment of alignment.
As a brand photographer, these are the moments I’m most drawn to capturing. Strong personal brands aren’t built on performance or perfection. They’re built on presence, clarity, and authenticity — and that energy translates powerfully through visuals.
This experience reinforced why storytelling through strategic brand photography matters so deeply to me.

2025 has been a year of refinement and recalibration. It’s shown me that sustainable business growth doesn’t come from doing more — it comes from doing what’s aligned.
This retreat offered confirmation of something I’ve been feeling for months: my work is expanding, and it’s doing so in a more intentional, grounded way. I’m being called to support business owners not just with visuals, but with brand clarity, strategic storytelling, and confidence in how they show up.
It’s less about hustle and more about purpose-driven growth.

As I look toward 2026, I feel excited — not rushed.
There’s a clear vision forming around how I want to serve, the stories I want to help tell, and the kind of impact I want my work to have. This next chapter is rooted in clarity, intention, and alignment — both personally and professionally.
This retreat was a reminder that when your business is built on purpose, the next steps reveal themselves naturally.
If you’re in a season where your business feels like it’s evolving — where what once worked no longer fits — you’re not behind. You’re becoming.
And sometimes, all it takes is the right space to see that clearly.
If you’re ready for brand photography that supports clarity, confidence, and intentional growth, I’d love to help you tell your story in a way that reflects where you’re headed. You can book your session here.
