So you are going on a Disney vacation; Congratulations! I am oh so excited for you! Trips to Disney have always been some of my most fond memories growing up. Now that I am a mom myself, I am always looking for the best way to save some money!

Here are my 10 must-haves for any trip to Disney! I am a firm believer that there are just some things that you should get before you make it to Disney. There are a few splurge items but they make the trip so much more magical when you can capture the magic from anywhere! As a professional photographer, it’s important to me to make sure that I have everything I need to capture all the magical moments. From meeting the characters to documenting the fireworks, items on this list will help you stay on top of all the magic!

My top 10 items on Amazon to purchase for your next Disney trip!

Packing Cubes – I always want to make sure I have all my outfits ready in advance for myself and my family so that we don’t forget anything! Packing cubes make it so easy. I have a set of cubes for each person in my family in a different color so that everyone knows where their things are. These packing cubes are extra awesome because they come in 19 different colors and have 7 pieces! I love how they include a laundry bag and are waterproof!

Disney Themed Luggage – Ok, so maybe this is a splurge but can you blame me? It’s so annoying trying to find my bag in the sea of many. My new Disney-themed luggage has completely helped me in this department. First, I always know which bag is mine. I have yet to see duplicates on my trips. Secondly, it just makes me smile when I see my Disney-themed luggage. Lastly, they are so well made that I know I purchased a good investment!

Disney Backpack – Again – you could use any old backpack but I love a good theme! Loungefly is an awesome brand that makes all different types of themed bags and this adorable Mickey + Minnie design is great for the parks and beyond! This bag is a standard-sized backpack, has padded arm straps, one large pocket, and one smaller zippered pocket on the front with two spots for water bottles or phone storage!

Disney Hip Bag – If a big backpack isn’t your thing then this adorable Petunia Picklebottom Hip Bag is the way to go! It comes in several different patterns and it’s such good quality! It’s large enough to a small wallet, iPhone, and a hand fan! It can be worn around the waist or in the cross-body style that is currently popular.

Water Bottle – Bringing your own water bottle is a must for two reasons: 1. Purchasing water bottles is just expensive and 2. You can get free cups of ice water from any of the quick service locations around Disney! My favorite water bottles are these Simple Modern ones – they keep your water cold ALL DAY and don’t leak! Plus, I love a straw! 😜

Reuseable Straws – Speaking of straws… if you have been to Disney recently, you will likely have noticed that they are using paper straws now. I get the need for them and totally understand they are better for the environment but I just can’t get on board with the paper taste in my mouth. These straws are a great price (so if you lose one you’re not kicking yourself) and come with cleaning tools and a carrying case!

Hand Fan – These little guys are a MUST when it comes to going to the parks anytime between April and October! Cool yourself off with this little handled fan; it charges quickly with a USB connector and lasts for hours. Don’t forget to pick your favorite color!

Portable Charger – I don’t leave home without this little guy! If you are at all like me, I drain my battery fast because I love to document everything. While this isn’t the cheapest charger you could get, it is one of the best! It has multiple ports so you can charge several things a once and you will never run out of battery.

Rain Ponchos – If you are traveling in the summer months it is a good idea to bring along your own rain poncho. Most ponchos at Disney are $15 or more for one and they are pretty much the exact same quality as ones you would find online. If you don’t want a “Disney” inspired one like the one I’ve linked, amazon has all the different kinds that are perfect for your trip!

Gimble – One more splurge to round out my 10. This is not a must-have for everyone but I hate when I take video and it’s all shaky. This gimble is super easy to use, allows you to take video horizontally or vertically, and comes with a stand! I will be using this to do some cute content for my social media as well as to record the Happily Ever After fireworks!
